About
the Musicians
Lisle Kulbach
Lisle Kulbach
studied piano with Russian pianist, Vladzia Mashke, thereby receiving a
thorough grounding in pianistic technique. She continued her keyboard
studies at the New England Conservatory, to receive her degree in
harpsichord. With that basis in Early Music practice, Lisle has
continued to play keyboard music of many styles, as well as other
modern and early music instruments, violin, kemenje, recorder, and
voice. Lisle is a founding member of the Sephardic music group,
Voice of the Turtle, with which she has performed in Israel, Spain,
England, and throughout the United States.
We welcome Ms. Kulbach to her first appearance on the Historical Piano Concerts Series.
