Polish-Russian-American cellist Ignacy Gaydamovich studied with Terry King, Jesús Castro-Balbi, Rhonda Rider, Andrzej Bauer, and Kazimierz Michalik. He has received degrees from the Chopin Music Academy (Warsaw), Texas Christian University, Boston Conservatory, Longy School of Music, and the University of Hartford (DMA). He is the winner of the Allegro-Vivo competition (Austria) and recipient of top prizes at other competitions. As a soloist, he has performed with the National Radio and TV of Albania, Hartt Symphony, and Manchester Symphony orchestras. He has released three albums and given over one hundred recitals in Austria, China, Japan, Lebanon, Panama, Poland, Russia, and in the U.S. He has also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Crane School of Music and has been on the cello faculties at Texas Christian University and Mount Holyoke College.
